About Katrina
MY INSPIRATIONS
ART
I’m inspired to post my artistic creations. For me creating is not a choice, it’s something I’m compelled to do. It is a gift, a connection to the Source. We are channels for divine energy to manifest through and I am awed by it!
SOURCE
I’m inspired to post wonderful insights I’ve known and like to share.
FOOD
I’m inspired to post recipes I’ve enjoyed preparing…and eaten.
ABODE
I’m inspired about where I live, beautiful Sonoma County, California. I’m surrounded by bucolic vineyard views, rolling verdant hills, the Pacific Ocean nearby and salty sea air.

It is my hope that what has touched me in these pages will touch you, too.

Hi Katrina,
I loved your blog. Your art for the harvest festival is beautiful. I still want to paint together sometime.
It sounds like you had a great time at the conference. One of these years I’ll go –hopefully with you and Tara and Carolyn.
Love,
Shanti
A pastel painter myself, I feel the same- compelled and inspired by a higher source! Enjoyed your pastel of Italy- peaceful. – roselynnrlistudios.wordpress.com
Hi Cathrina,
Beautiful colours and forms. Blessings to you. Christine. http://wonderwalk.wordpress.com/
I like the shape of your eyes. Your lipstick seems a bit blurry though. When you put it on you should stop at the edge of your lips rather than carry the stroke on down across the side of your chin.
My mother always told me to shut my mouth. I should take her advice I suppose.
You put a smile on my face when I read you and Lisa, bj. It makes me want to step away from being so darned serious all the time …but I end up being true to my nature (at least my nature as it is now…).
The smear is courtesy Photoshop filters. I thought it made me look more interesting. ;o)
You make wonderful Paintings!!! You are a great Artist!
Thank you Barbara.

Hi Katrina,
Wow !! Good that I come across your site. The paintings are very beautiful.
Though I love to paint, other life commitments are stopping me from doing so. Good to browse all your paintings. shall keep coming for more.
Best wishes.
Well, I did think you looked very attractive in your original smeared lipstick pose but I think you look even better in your new photo. And you seem to be painting beautifully no matter which photo of yourself you present.
My Facebook picture is now a fairy. Are you on FB?

Katrina,
I just love your handling of the shadows on the whites in
“Lillies of the Valley”, most judicious! The translucent qualities
are well borne out. Yours, Grant Crawford
Thank you grant. Shadowas, especially on whites, are made of so many colors. The whites can pick up the local color surronding them, as well.
