Plein air Pastel at Robert Young Winery
March 20, 2008 by Katrina

Plein air painting is glorious on a Spring day! The vineyards had wild mustard growing in between the rows and everything was vibrant. Robert Young Winery is located in the Alexander Valley in Sonoma County, Northern California.

Mmmmm! So soft and yummy. I somehow hadnt made the connection that you go out with the MMpainters on a regular basis. Maybe I’ll just join you some time.
What’s so great about painting en plein air, is that we actually get to spend time with the scenery for a period of time. And the painting becomes an extension of the experience. Come to MMP anytime, we have a something scheduled for every Monday.
